Uldin looked across the table of his great hall meeting the eyes of each chief under his command "We have been preparing for 3 month and now finally all our tribes are gathered from the great tribes of Greuthungi and Utigurs to the elite forces of the Gepids and now is time to mobalise my Hun forces and take Europe by storm we will show them why you do not betray a Hun". The table was silent waiting on the words of Uldin a leader who had almost single handedly brought together a force the likes of which had not been seen for an age. "Before we send the pig dogs of Europe to their precious god we must first ensure our alliances are holding strong. I am dividing the tribes Volskivt leader of the Utigurs you shall remain here with a large portions of my forces while I journey with the rest of my horde to pay Anthemrus a visit". With that the war council left the table and all began rallying their forces for immediate departure.
The forces travelling to Constantinople:
Onogurs 12,000 Huns Greuthungi 10,000 Gothic nobles 60,000 Gothic warriors Gepids 2,000 Germanic nobles 25,000 Germanic warriors 1,000 Hearth warriors

A messenger from the Court of Constantinople finds a great horde amassed for war. The young Hunnic rider bears news of a political change in the court of Theodosius II. It seems the wise Anthemius has deceased, or at least incapacitated. Some say he was struck down with madness by the gods, but the Hunnic messenger believes that Anthemius had a weak mind, broken by government. In his place a woman now commands the court - a fact that will surely give the Huns something to laugh about. Pulcheria is her name, and she is rumoured to be something of a bore - virginal, temperate, and devout - a slip of a woman not producing daughters or performing any crafts, a total waste of space if it weren't for her political meddling. The young messenger is clearly not a fan.
