Subjugation
Objective: Convince the Alans, by diplomacy or force, to accept the overlordship of Carthage, and to provide foederati to the legions.

They are famed for their skilled and deadly horse archers, but are still insecure in their possession. If they can be convinced that Julian and Svetovida pose a serious threat to their new land and wealth, they might be convinced to work within your sphere. A direct conquest is likely out of bounds, but through sinister action and harassment, or through bribery and flattery, the Alans might be convinced that they are better off in service to Rome than in opposition to it.
Reward: 5,000 Alan Foederati Infantry, 5,000 Alans. Julian will receive the same number.
