The first military action of the Tysoti will be the swift capture of a small but extremely prosperous coastal town called Igilgili.
Svetovida and her warriors come to the town from the east, eschewing the swift coastal road for the seclusion of the mountain passes. The large band descends from the foothills and out into the open plains between the mountains and the town. There are 950 Drugi mounted on their powerful chargers.
Svetovida commands that two forces of 200 Drugi break of North and South of the main force. They keep within visible range, but ensure that they can sweep in upon the flanks of any force that attempts to engage the central body of cavalry. Svetovida remains with the main body which rides straight for the town. If they are not engaged then they will pull up just outside of arrow shot whilst the two smaller troops move to block possible reinforcements from the West and East.
The Slavs will avoid slaughtering civilians and burning crops at this point. Instead they read the following message to the defenders:
"Tertium per voluntatem imperatoris Iuliani civitate mandatur tradendus simul et iniquitate. Si secundo hoc feceritis Celsitudinem Caesarea se curare salutem et salutem omnium civium . Si non ipse dolore parere cogatur Mancipium solvat totum furorem suum servis suis."
"By the Will of Emperor Julian the third this town is commanded to surrender itself at once, and without violence. If you do so then his Imperial Highness will ensure the safety and wellbeing of every citizen herein. If you do not comply then he shall regretfully be forced to let loose the full fury of his Slavic servants."
OOC: Sorry for the bad Latin. I've gotten quite sloppy recently.
